1 – OBJECT
ITALIAN TILE CONTEST is the Contest aimed at end consumers, promoted by Rondine S.p.A., to reward the most creative and most appealing project in the use of ceramic products of the Rondine brand.
2 – CONTEST OBJECTIVES
The aim of ITALIAN TILE CONTEST is to increase the visibility of the Ceramica Rondine brand and encourage the awareness and use of the product among consumers, in addition to highlighting and recognizing the merit of unpublished projects, in order to offer a possibility of promotion of new ideas, proposals and visions for contemporary living.
3 – CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
To participate in the Contest it is necessary to be of age, in this regard Rondine S.p.A. reserves the right to request written documentation at any time and to carry out the necessary checks.
Participation in the Contest is free.
The contest is open to all consumers and retailers who have chosen or supplied ceramic material of Ceramica Rondine, for the construction of a home, business or any other intended use.
4 – HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST
The request to participate must be made via online form on the website www.ceramicarondine.it/en/italian-tile-contest where some personal data and an e-mail address will be requested, in addition to an explicit declaration of knowledge of this announcement and of his unconditional acceptance.

Each participant, after completing the registration, will be able to upload their projects as per the following point.
The documents presented according to the indications of this document will not be returned.
5 – REQUESTED DATA
For each single project that you wish to present at ITALIAN TILE CONTEST you must send the following documentation:
Required documents for participation in the Contest:
- Brief description of the project of a maximum of 4,000 characters that bears the title of the project and the reasons behind it
- Photographic images able to illustrate the realized project.
6 – CALENDAR
The application and the documents required in digital format must be sent via the online form to the website www.ceramicarondine.it/en/italian-tile-contest without fail within and not later than 08 September 2019.
7 – JURY
The Jury is made up of company representatives and freelancers of international level.
The Jury's work will be unappealable and no feedback will be provided regarding the selection and decision process of the winners.
The result will be published on the company website in the contest section: www.ceramicarondine.it/en/italian-tile-contest
The winners will be chosen by the Jury and the decision is final.
8 – PRIZES
The Jury will select a single project that will win the Contest.
The consumer, who presented the project, and the retailer (where the consumer has purchased the Rondine brand products used in the competition project) will be awarded winners, each winner will be awarded the following prize:
Trip to New York for 2 people
valid for departures from 11/01/19 to 06/30/2020
Including:
- Intercontinental flight and airport taxes (Economy class)
- Bed and breakfast for 7 nights in a 4-star hotel in Manhattan
- City Pass with access to public transport and the following attractions:
Empire State Building
American Museum of Natural History
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Top of the Rock Observation Deck or Guggenheim Museum
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island or Circle Line Cruises
11 September Memorial and Museum or Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
High season periods are excluded.
The winners, once appointed, will put themselves in direct contact with the travel agency for the organization of the trip in question.
It is possible to convert the prize with another trip of equivalent value.
Time window to take the trip from 01/11 to 30/06/2020
The awarding of the winners will take place on 09/25/2019 at the Rondine booth at Cersaie, the international exhibition of ceramics for architecture and bathroom furnishings, which takes place in Bologna from 23 to 27 September 2019.
9 – DISCLOSURE OF PROJECTS IN COMPETITION
Participants, by adhering to ITALIAN TILE CONTEST, authorize Rondine SpA, without claiming any compensation and without time or territory limits, other than the obligation to quote an author, to disclose, publish and communicate, in any form that the company deems appropriate and on any medium, the documents delivered.
10 – MISCELLANEOUS
By sending the requested documentation the participants accept and adhere to all the rules established by the Contest and also accept not to include in the documents and in the documentation transmitted, protected material, in whole and in part, from copyright, assuming any consequent responsibility.
11 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All projects submitted are subject to Italian law in relation to the rules relating to intellectual and industrial property.
By adhering to ITALIAN TILE CONTEST the participants declare definitively and irrevocably to renounce any economic claim and / or exploitation rights on the project presented in competition in favor of Rondine SpA, without prejudice to the right to be recognized as the author of the same and to be , however, cited as such.
The realized works will become the property of the contest promoter and the participants consent to their disclosure and promotion, granting a perpetual and exclusive use license, commercial exploitation without any territorial limitation on the part of the promoter.
The participants declare under their own responsibility to be the authors of the projects submitted, as well as the sole holders of the related copyright. Competitors therefore assume all responsibility and liability for any disputes that may arise regarding the originality of the works and / or ownership of the aforementioned rights.
12 – RESPONSIBILITY
Rondine S.p.A. cannot be held responsible in the event of modification or cancellation of the competition due to reasons beyond its control or for reasons of force majeure.
Participation in ITALIAN TILE CONTEST involves the use of an Internet connection.
Rondine S.p.A. declines all responsibility for any Internet malfunction, as well as for bugs, viruses, damage caused during the document upload phase or the unauthorized intervention of a third party that compromises in any way the correct functioning of the site.
Participants also declare that they are responsible for the content of their works, indemnifying and holding the contest promoter harmless from any third party claim and / or action and will be required to compensate them for any prejudicial consequences, including any legal fees, including out-of-court charges , which should suffer as a result of the violation of the above.
13 – ACCEPTANCE
With the dispatch of the projects the participants accept, without reservation, the conditions expressed in the announcement and submit to the evaluations of the Jury, both for the interpretation of the announcement, and for the evaluation of the competing works.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any problems or circumstances that may inhibit the performance or participation in this competition.
The authors of the works sent guarantee that it is exclusive fruit of its own ingenuity and that it possesses the requirements of novelty and originality.
Although not expressly provided for in the regulation, reference is made to the general provisions contained in the applicable Community, national and regional regulations. If the organizers find any violation of the rules by the participants, they will have the right to decree their disqualification without any responsibility.
14 – AUTHORIZATION
In relation to the disclosure art. 13, Legislative Decree 196/03, concerning the protection of persons and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data, the participants in the competition hereby authorize the organization of the competition to process the personal data in question for the purposes of management of the competition itself.
The data controller is Rondine S.p.A.
The data will be processed in the following ways: processing with electronic and IT tools.
