Ceramica Rondine and the Brick Generation: open brickwork at Cersaie 2014
Ceramica Rondine takes its inspiration from the industrial allure of a metropolitan loft, with the powerful expressive style of classic open brickwork, in a versatile, hard-wearing, beautifully adaptable material: porcelain stoneware.
In the project that made its international debut at Cersaie 2014, the ceramic surface becomes the medium for a style with a distinctive urban slant. Class New York façades make their way into the home, bringing a look reminiscent of redeveloped buildings and adding an attractively original interior design twist.
Brick Generation is the perfect blend of the contemporary and the timeless – floor and wall coverings that offer an impressively genuine reproduction of the appearance and feel of brick surfaces.
The rough texture and natural porosity are featured in a wide range of colours that bring all the enthralling appeal of brick back to life in a thickness of just 10 mm. The sizes available – 6x25 and 17x34 – are equally reminiscent of the uneven appearance of metropolitan walls.
