The long-established Caffè al Centro in Via Cavour has been given a completely new makeover.
Tucked away in the airy, modern setting are also a number of cosy little corners, modulated with a lighting system that brings just the right pace to the installation. During the daytime, however, the setting is flooded with the natural light that enters through the large windows running the full length of the bar.
For the restyling project, the choice fell to the Icon collection by Ceramica Rondine, which takes its inspiration from aged stone and concrete slabs, placing the accent on the signs left on them by the passage of time, and reproducing them in a variety of contemporary colours. The interior designer took up the suggestions offered by the collection – with NCS notation – to create sublime ton-sur-ton and contrasting combinations that make Caffè Al Centro a truly splendid experience.
The surfaces chosen – featuring the rectified 60x60 size in the colour Olive – engage smoothly with the surroundings, blending with walls, furnishings and coloured inserts declined in shades of grey and bordeaux.
The result is a setting in keeping with modern trends, confirming the Icon collection’s aspiration to decorate commercial and public premises as well as residential settings.
